Debbie Swanson, from the Page County Extension Office, came to talk to us about healthy eating and germs. She taught the kids about “My Plate” and what types of food they should have at each meal. She also discussed with the students about where their food comes from. In the last session, she brought her magic lotion to show the importance of washing hands thoroughly. The kids were amazed that the lotion still showed up on their hands under a black light, even after they had washed their hands. The favorite part of each session was the snack Ms. Debbie brought for the kids.
