Extra Recess

Our class is working on earning pieces to fill up a Mr. Potato Head. We earn pieces when we are good listeners, we walk in the hallways quietly, when we get compliments from other teachers, etc. This week we filled up our Potato Head, so we stayed outside after recess and had some extra recess time. We all enjoyed the beautiful weather and can't wait to fill up our Potato again!

Do NOT have the kids sound these out. These need to be known by looking at it and knowing what the word is. Using flash cards and practicing each day is the best way for the kids to know and remember what these words are.
