School Registration will be held August 6th and 7th from Noon-6:00PM. Please stop in on one of those days to register your child for school.
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 19th. Kindergarten students do not all come on the first day of school. If your last name is towards the beginning of the class list, you will come the first day of school (19th) and not the second day of school (20th). If your last name is towards the end of the class list, you will come the second day of school (20th) and not the first day of school (19th). All students will come to school on Thursday, August 21st. This is done so that we can go through all the school procedures with just half of the class and ease the students into the school year. The first few weeks can be a little overwhelming learning all the new "rules" of your child's classroom and school. If you are unsure about what day to come, ask at registration or call Jess in the elementary office. The number for the office is: 712.542.4510.
Meet the Teacher Night will be held Monday, August 18th, from 6:00-7:00PM. Come in that night and meet me and check out our classroom! You may also bring your supplies so you have one less thing to remember on the first day of school.
